Introducing 'Extruded' Wooden Profiles

Carpentry and Industry are two seperate worlds. Wood-works brings these closer together, using a custom built router table, profiles can be cut in wooden beems, these are inspired by traditional japanese carpentry, which are usually chiselled by hand.

These profiles are then cut to the desired length, determining the dimensions of the furniture piece, in this case a table or a bench.

These pieces are then carefully fitted together and hammered in place, no glue required. By sliding on the surface all the pieces are pulled together and gravity will strenghten the connections even further.

The result, a custom furniture piece that can be manufactured quickly and efficiently.
